In 1878, with the decision of the American Treasury, between 1878 and 1904 and in 1921, 1 Dollar silver coins called "Morgan Dollar" were minted. It is named after George T. Morgan, who designed the coin. On the front is a portrait of a woman representing freedom, and on the back is an eagle with its wings spread, representing the United States of America. As of 1922, the front and back designs of the silver 1 dollar were changed.
