AYÇA TELGEREN (1975 -   )

She was born in Kocaeli in 1975. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Painting. The artist uses the "Cut out" technique in her works, which she created entirely from colored papers; With the idea that the most interesting, free and promising thing that survives worldly chaos is dreaming and dreaming, she reconstructs an alternative universe, imagined, independent of daily reality, where all kinds of discrimination, hatred, anger, and despair caused by conflict prevail. Using paper as paint and pencil, Telgeren's works consist of thousands of pieces of colored paper cut and glued on top of each other, and the forms she adorned with obsessive details turn into fluid forms like isometry maps of dreams. She continues her life and work in Istanbul.
