EVREN TEKİNOKTAY (1972 -   )

She was born in 1972 in Kopenhan. Between 1993-97 Gerrit Rietveld Academy, College of Art and Design, Amsterdam / Denmark, 1997-99 Jan van Eyck Academy, Postgraduate Center for Fine Art, Design Department, Maastricht / Holland, 1998-99. She studied at the Royal Danish Art Academy, Copenhagen / Denmark, as a student of Professor Claus Cartensen. Reflecting the complexity of life and the sincerity of the human being in her works, the artist often works on different techniques on the same size surface. The combinations of theory, art and design are seen in the works of the artist, who patiently holds and reflects all the forms and colors in the residue of the subconscious, like a marbling artist who has left a mark in his own culture. Tekinoktay's visual diagnoses find their composite counterparts in exuberant color levels of colors. Having held solo exhibitions in England, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands, the artist continues her life and work in Copenhagen / Denmark.
