Hakan Onur

HAKAN ONUR (1965 -   )

Hakan Onur was born in 1965 in Istanbul. In 1982, he entered Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Having graduated in 1986, Onur started his master's degree in Mimar Sinan University Painting Department the same year. In 1989, he completed his education by preparing his thesis named "Art and Intuition". Later, he entered Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts and graduated in 1998 by writing his PhD thesis titled "Art and Media as a Communication Field". Onur continues his studies in his own workshop in Istanbul and also teaches at Marmara University Painting Department.
