Ahmet Elhan

AHMET ELHAN (1959 - )

Elhan was born in Izmir in 1959. He graduated from the Graphics Department of Applied Fine Arts School in Istanbul (currently known as Marmara University). He then graduated from Cinema and TV Department of Fine Arts Faculty of Ege University in Izmir. Ahmet Elhan thinks that photography is an important mechanical production tool and questions the relationship with reality. He creates images based on photographic production and presents them with a design approach that also includes the exhibition space. He lives and works in Istanbul.
