HAMZA İNANÇ (1930 - 2020)
Hamza İnanç was born in 1930 in Samsun. After graduating from Akpınar Village Institute in 1948, in 1951 G.E.E. he finished the Painting-Work Department. In 1961, he went to Paris for a scholarship in foreign countries, winning the state exam in the "painting" category with first place. Between 1962-65, at the Paris State Academy of Fine Arts, Prof. He studied at the R. Leguelt workshop. He made researches in the field of art history at the Ecole du Louvre. He conducted written research on Boticelli's frescoes in the Louvre Museum. He worked on photography alongside Monsieur Pic, the stage photographer of the Paris Opera. In 1965, after completing studies in Paris g.s.a. went to Rome and returned to Turkey in the autumn. Between 1965-74, Ankara G.E.E. He worked as a lecturer in the Department of Painting and Business. Between 1974-80 A.Ü. S.B.F. He worked as a photography lecturer at the Press and Broadcasting High School and as a stage photographer for the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. He taught language and culture to Turkish children in Rotterdam in 1980. Between 1984-90, he worked as a lecturer in the Turkish Department, Anatolian Civilizations and General Art History at the Rotterdam Nuts Academy. The artist opened more than 50 personal exhibitions. He passed away in 2020.
