İsmail Ateş

İsmail Ateş (1960 - )

Ateş was born in Gole in 1960. He graduated from the Painting Department of Gazi Institute of Education. He earned his master’s degree from Hacettepe University. During 2002-2004, he worked as a research scholar in the Art Department of New York City University of New York. In his paintings, he improves abstract color platform on regular schemes that form symmetric and asymmetric compositions, and further he examines the contribution of the fundamental plastic factors to these schemes. He works presently as an instructor in the Fine Arts faculty of Hacettepe University.
