YALÇIN GÖKÇEBAĞ (1944 - )

Gökçebağ was born in Denizli in 1944. He graduated from Gazi Faculty of Education, Painting department. He was a member of staff at Middle Eastern Technical University, Faculty of Fine Arts. His paintings were created from a pure and poetic concept of nature; a prairie pastoral. Admirers of local art all represent high dose of sincerity found in his paintings. Eventhough Gökçebağ has received formal art education he has depicted Anatolian lifestyle and Anatolia embroidered in nature and their life in nature together. He lives and works in Ankara.
