Serdar Okan

SERDAR OKAN (1958 -   )

Okan was born in 1958, in Istanbul. Graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Fine Arts Faculty, Painting department, Prof. Özdemir Altan Studio. He received his painting restoration certificate from the same university in 1984. For many years his works included of eyes and portraits were studies of the inner depth of the human soul and their psychology. Serdar Okan is trying to keep pace with the flow of life with sudden colorful transitions on big surfaces of vivid colors. His abstract view, catches the fingerprints of all facets of our world and the feelings, colors and dark contours present chaos that catches the esthetical imagination. He lives and works in his studio in Istanbul.
