Mustafa Altıntaş ( 1945- )
Born on June 15, 1945 in Akşehir, Altıntaş graduated from the Painting Department of Gazi Education Institute in 1968. He went to Paris with a scholarship he won in 1970 and started working at the International Artists Site "CiteInternationale des arts". Having graduated from Paris Fine Arts School in 1973 with a 'Higher Plastic Arts' diploma, Altıntaş worked especially in the workshops of Gustave Singier and Jean Bertholle. The artist, who continued his work in Paris until 1998, came to Turkey for a while between 1974 and 1976 and worked as a cameraman at TRT Ankara television, and then returned to Paris, where he studied for his master's degree at the Sorbonne University Faculty of Cinema between 1976-1980. completed. A student of famous film historian Jean Mitry and well-known filmmakers such as Eric Rohmer, Jean Rouch and MichelCiment, the artist has made many documentaries and experiential films, some of which have participated in international festivals.
The artist, who exhibited her works in international biennials, festivals, and many solo and group exhibitions in France and various European countries in 1970-95, gave painting lessons at a fine arts school in Paris between 1985-1990. The artist, who has many paintings in private collections in France, USA, Switzerland, Finland and Turkey, comes to Istanbul and Bodrum frequently for his works while living in Paris.
