Nedret Yaşar

Nedret Yaşar (1968 - )

Nedret Yaşar was born in Ruse, Bulgaria in 1968. He graduated from the Art Department of Bulgaria Fine Arts Academy in 1996. He became a member of the Ruse Artists Association in 1992 and was awarded the first prize in the Painting Competitions of the Fine Arts Academy of 1991 and 1992. 

Nedret Yaşar depicts the lack of communication and perception, the feeling of alienation of people unable to understand the word surrounding them and grasp their own essence by transferring to his canvases through surrealistic images, the synergy of alien objects, the division between reality and essence and its traumatic impact on people. The artist who participated in many solo and joint exhibitions, lives and works in Istanbul.
