Temur Köran

Temur Köran (1960 - )

He was born in 1960 in Siverek. He studied at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (now Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University), Painting Department, Devrim Erbil Workshop. He completed the Proficiency in Art program at the same university. With an introverted observation, he adopts a psychological dimension of painting and works in this direction. In the painting of the artist, who blends the space-time relationship with his unique expressions, many events, situations and objects from his environment become models. Re-evaluating the meeting of figure and color within different composition organizations, the artist also includes the audience in his narratives that he feeds with his own world. He lives and works in Istanbul.
