Tayfun Erdoğmuş

Tayfun Erdoğmuş (1958 - )

Erdoğmuş was born in Istanbul in 1960. He graduated from the Graphic Department of State Applied Fine Arts School of Istanbul (currently known as Marmara University). He worked with Prof. Otto Eglau in International Summer Academy with scholarship granted by the Austrian Government in 1980. He also worked with Prof. Marwan Kassab Bachi in Hochschule der Künste, Berlin by DAAD Scholarship between 1986-1989. He received proficiency in art in 1985. He has been working as a research scholar in Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts. His works are shaped around the texture problem and the geometric-figural elements’ organization of the painting surface. He lives and works in Istanbul.
