CÖMERT DOĞRU (1977 - )

Cömert Doğru, born in Istanbul in 1977, studied graphic design at the University and then worked as a designer for advertising agencies and publishing houses in Turkey, Germany and the U.S (Pars Mccan Ericson, Propaganda, Alametifarika, Bastel Verlag, Altın Kitaplar) The book covers he prepared for Stephen King in 2009, were published by the American Publishing House, Centipede Press, in a book named “Artists inspired by Stephen King”. The star he designed for the Stars of Istanbul competition, organized in Istanbul in 2011, to the benefit of Unicef, won the first prize and was sold for the highest figure. The artist uses acrylic paint for his non computerized photo-realistic illustrations. He works and lives in Istanbul.
