GÜLTEN İMAMOĞLU (1970 - )

İmamoğlu was born in Tokat in 1970. The artist graduated from the Painting Department of Education Faculty of 19 Mayıs University in 1991. She received her proficiency in art at 19 Mayıs University and became an instructor. İmamoğlu participated in 53^rd Sausalito Art Festival (San Francisco) as a first Turkish artist in 2005. In her paintings there are abstract compositions, which have color flow upfront. Her works inspire from natural elements and bright fractals. She takes away the colos from the fake colored visual world amd make them livable and touchable. She makes her sensations and utopias meet with the reality of the spectator and associate with the colorful and dynamic canvases. The artist’s images, which make life and death related and even connected, seem equal and identical on the birth, death and life platform. She lives and works in Istanbul.
