Gülgün Başarır

GÜLGÜN BAŞARIR (1945 - )

Başarır was born in 1945 in Izmir. He graduated from Gazi Education Institute Painting Department in 1966 and worked as a teacher in secondary education institutions. She had 10 personal exhibitions. Having works in the Istanbul State Painting and Sculpture Museum and in private collections in Turkey and abroad, Gülgün Başarır opened her first personal exhibition in Ankara (State Fine Arts Gallery) in 1968, and received degrees in many national competitions.
