NAİM ULUDOĞAN (1911-2010)
He took his first painting lessons from Sami Yetik at Kuleli Military High School. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1933. He worked in the General Command of Maps. He became a member of the Soldier Painters Association in 1947. He entered the Gazi Education Institute Painting Department with an external exam and received a painting teaching certificate. He retired in 1950 after teaching art in military schools for five years. Between 1965 and 1980, joint exhibitions were held with Ülkü Uludoğan under the name "Father-Daughter".
He received the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Service to Turkish Culture and Art Plaque in 1984, and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's 50 Years Service to Art Plaque in 1988. In his paintings, in which the tradition of military painters is based on the understanding that gives priority to the impressionist palette, Istanbul landscapes and still nature subjects predominate.
