HAYATİ MİSMAN (1945 -)

Hayati Misman was born in Konya in 1945. In 1968, he graduated from Ankara Gazi Education Institute, Department of Art Education. In 1975, he successfully completed the Graphic Design department, which he studied at the Kassel State Fine Arts Academy, where he went with the Ministry of Education scholarship. The painter, who was entitled to receive a proficiency degree in art in 1984, received the title of associate professor at Gazi University in 1987. Between 1987 and 2001, he worked as a lecturer at Bilkent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture. In 2001, he transferred to Hacettepe University and became a professor. He is currently working as a visiting professor at Bilkent University. The artist, who depicts the forms of his own nature, has organized over fifty solo exhibitions, ten of which were abroad. Artist, "Turkish Abdi Ipekci Peace and Friendship Award" and the "16th International Mediterranean Biennial Award" There are five awards in total, including ten.
