Şenol Yorozlu

SENOL YOROZLU (1950 - )

Yorozlu was born in Trabzon in 1950. He started his art life with drawing caricatures at his early ages. He studied in Neşet Günal Studio at the Painting Department of İstanbul Academy of Fine Arts (currently known as Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University) between 1973-1978. He conducted art research in Europe with his own resources between 1975-1977. His paintings mostly have the abstract understanding conceal the figure as an abstract impression. The big stains and wide strokes in his works clarify the abstract expressionist art understanding. He lives and works in Istanbul and Izmir.
