MELTEM SIRTIKARA (1982 -   )

She was born in Istanbul in 1982. She graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Between 2007-2009, she completed her master's degree in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. The point of view of man and woman living in the modern world, lack of communication, and contradictions within sex and love; tragedy, indifference, irony, violence, escaping from hemself, afraid of her feelings, the condition of the western man who cannot face the ability to feel compassionate love and live it to the fullest; It is one of the main subjects that the artist focuses on. The object is a whole with the situation it wants to tell. She lives and works in Istanbul.
