SAYAT UŞAKLIGİL (1975 -  )

Sayat Uşaklıgil, born in Istanbul in 1975, graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department and received his master’s degree from the Social Sciences Institute of the same university in 2000. With a few brushstrokes, he manages to bestow splendor to all kinds of movies from the simplest to the most magnificent ones. The cinematographic legends, which are on the verge of losing their identity through digital copying and repetition, recover their glory through his oil paint brush strokes on canvas. The artist works and lives in Istanbul.
