Adil Ocak (1951 - )

He was born in 1951 in Trabzon. The artist, who graduated from Gazi Education Painting and Graphics Department in 1977, creates a unique fantasy world in his paintings by following not what exists, but what should exist according to him. While abstracting and shaping the trees in nature, he reflects all the variable trees on his canvases as a round shape within a geometrical form. The artist, whose works are in international and domestic collections such as the USA, England, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Dubai, Switzerland, and participated in many group events, opened his first solo exhibition in Ankara in 1986.
