Rabia Çelik (1991 - )

Born in Istanbul in 1991, Rabia Çelik graduated from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department in 2017. The artist, who participated in many group painting exhibitions while she was studying, held her first solo exhibition in 2002 at Mercury. The artist, who depicts the girl who is looking for herself in the adventure of existence, describes her art as "I am observing the woman who finds her own spaces of separation in jars and dreams of them in her own adventure of existence, away from the temporal perspective, only in the place where her dreams dry..." Çelik lives and works in Istanbul.
