Munich Fehmi Özarman was born in Istanbul in 1989. The artist, who went to Sanayi-i Nefise Mektebi, is one of the pioneers of graphic design. The first cartoon of the artist, who entered the Sublime Porte in 1916 and worked on posters and advertisements, was published in FAĞFUR in 1918. While the artist made many movie posters until the 1960s, he also helped with movie scripts, decor and costume works. At the same time, the artist, who creates cartoons and illustrations in newspapers and magazines, opened his work exhibition with Cemal Nadir Güler and Ramiz Gökçe.

Özarman, one of the representatives of orientalism with his use of color, the power of black and white scans and his personality, produced works especially on historical subjects and the recent period of Istanbul.
