TUNCAY TAKMAZ (1975 - )

Takmaz was born in İstanbul in 1975. He had nineteen solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions. In 1997, he founded the “Çekirdek Art Group” with his friends. He is the editor of the Çekirdek Art Magazine and the website; also general coordinator of the exhibitions and designed many exhibitions. He founded the Çekirdek Art Studio in Beyoğlu in 2005. His works are original; he paints what he believes in and what he knows. While dancing around in adventures with paint, he never hurts the language of aesthetics and painting, he is not afraid of trying of the new. His original and aesthetic works contain protest identity in nature. He has a poetry book called “Love Do Not Forget”. He works in İstanbul.
