Hatice Bengisu (1956 - )
Artist Hatice Bengisu graduated from Balıkesir Necatibey Primary School in 1975 and Dokuz Eylül University Buca Faculty of Education Department of Art and Crafts Education in 1978. She received her undergraduate education at Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Art and Crafts Education in 1986. She received her master's degree from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphics between 1991-1994. She taught printmaking, graphic design and creativity in art courses. She was the Head of the Department of Art and Crafts Education. She went to Balıkesir University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Painting in 2005 of her own accord and became a professor in 2009. After serving as the assistant dean at this faculty for 4 years, she has been serving as the dean since 2010. She is a member of Plastic Arts, Art Educators and Ex-Libris associations.
She opened 7 personal exhibitions in various cities. He participated in 31 group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad and 16 international exhibitions in Japan, Egypt, Belgium, Bulgaria, Thailand, France, Sweden, Poland, Ankara, Istanbul. He participates in various symposiums, congresses and festivals in the academic field related to his art. His works are in various museums and collections. He has published various articles in various art magazines and the conferences he has given in recent years are followed with interest.
