ORIGINAL FULL SET (WITH ORIGINAL BOX AND RIBBON) IS RARE. Second Degree Order of Ottoman Medal is limited to 200 pieces.

The Ottoman Medal, which was established by Sultan Abdulaziz in 1278 (1861) originally designed as three classes, the insignia was extended to four classes in 1867 and extended with a set of premium plus diamonds or diamonds. Excluding those given to foreigners, the medal is limited to 50 first class, 200 second class, 1000 third class and 2000 fourth class.

The Western Countries wanted the Greek War, which started on 17 April 1897 with the incitement of the Greeks in Crete in 1896 and the Greek landing soldiers on the island in 1897 to be stopped. On May 20, 1897, the Istanbul Agreement was made, but despite the war was won, a government consisting of Russia, Britain, France and Italy was established in Crete. After the proclamation of the II.
