HİKMET ÇETİNKAYA (1958 -   ) 

Hikmet Çetinkaya was born in 1958 in Konya. He graduated from Ankara Gazi University, Department of Painting in 1982. In 2002, he opened an art house named "Arc-En-Ciel Maison D'art Paris" in France and participated in artistic activities for 5 years. In 2006, he was one of the 45 artists who represented Turkey in Paris (UNESCO). He participated in art symposiums in Bulgaria (Varna, Plovdiv), Austria (Pöchlarn), Canada (Montreal, Ottowa, Toronto), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), Australia (Canberra, Taiwan, Taipei), Malta (Valletta), presented live performances and gave seminars. He held a total of 149 solo exhibitions, 52 of which were abroad (America, Canada, Germany, Russia, Austria, France, Sweden, China, Australia, Greece, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Malta, Taiwan, Cyprus). Çetinkaya, who met oil painting in 1976, brought more than 10,000 works to the art world with his brush, which he has not left for 43 years. In addition to the workshop he established in Canada (Toronto) in 2013, he continues his artistic works simultaneously in his workshop in Ankara.
