Ali Atmaca (1947 - )

Born in 1947 in Kahramanmaraş, Ali Atmaca attended workshops at the Istanbul Faculty of Fine Arts between 1971-72. He continued his painting studies at the Paris School of Fine Arts in 1982 and in Rome between 1986-88, where he traveled upon the invitation of a collector.

Ali Atmaca paints the figure in balance with abstractist form formations on the basis of a colorful understanding of art; rounded lines, fresh and vivid colors predominate on his canvas. His paintings are filtered through the creator's world of dreams and thoughts, simplifying and simplifying, inviting the viewer to discover a new and different world. With their changeable, dynamic and spontaneous nature, Atmaca's paintings bear traces of humanity and life.

Since 2006, the artist continues to produce his works in his studio in Bodrum Gümüşlük and his works are in private collections in many countries including France, Italy, Japan, Canada, USA, France, Italy, Japan, Canada, USA, France, Nice Museum of Modern Arts and Antibes, Picasso Museum.
