Hakan Esmer

Born in Trabzon in 1973, Hakan Esmer graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Painting Education in 1994, and completed his graduate program at Anadolu University Social Sciences Institute in the same year. Hakan Esmer, who has been working as a lecturer at Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department since 1996, has taught Basic Art Education, Wall Painting Techniques, Stained Glass and Painting in the same department, respectively. The artist, who opened 37 personal exhibitions, has a total of 15 awards, including the Pharmacists Union Painting Competition, Tekel Painting Competition, Şefik Bursalı Painting Competition, Antalya Painting Festival, Talens Painting Competition, Tunisia/Monastr International Plastic Arts Festival "Grand Prize". His works within the scope of the project carried out within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; were included in Embassy collections Berlin (Germany), Abuja (Nigeria) and Nakhchivan Autonomous Region. Esmer, who left her job in January 2012, still continues his works in his workshop in Eskişehir.
