Ayşe Özen (1985 - )

She was born in Aydın in 1985. Graduated from Muğla Fine Arts University, Painting department in 2009. She has had solo exhibitions in many cities in Turkey and has participated in more then 20 national and international mixed exhibitions. The artist uses a humorous approach in his evaluation concerning the changes in society’s cultural structure, life style and reflects the brokenness of the urbanner’s personal and social life. Along with this Özen brings the daily issues of our personal lives, the life style of the consuming man and questions the shallowness created by popular desires in the mind. Ayşe Özen works and lives in Istanbul.
