EMRE TANDIRLI (1977 -   )

Emre Tandırlı was born in 1977 in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul Anatolian Fine Arts High School Painting Department in 1996 and won Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department with a degree. The artist, who also completed his master's degree at the same university, completed a second master's degree in the Department of Plastic Arts at the "Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne University" in Paris, France between 2002 and 2008, and then completed his doctorate in the field of Art Sciences at the same university. Tandirli gave theoretical and applied lectures at Beykent University Fine Arts Faculty painting department, Bahçeşehir University Communication Faculty visual arts and visual communication design department and Işık University Fine Arts Faculty visual arts department. The artist has many awards. The artist, who works as a permanent staff at Işık University, continues his painting works in his private workshop in Istanbul, participates in national and international exhibitions and various artistic events. Emre Tandırlı portrays his works, which reveal the spiritual reflections of our inner commitment to the complex and intense structure of Istanbul, which has become a mega-city, with a unique poetic and romantic aesthetic.
