Andreev Alexander Abramovich (1958-2016)
Alexander Abramovich Andreev was born on May 14, 1958 in the village. Bolshaya-Chernaya, Novosibirsk Region. From 1971 to 1975 he studied in the private studio of A. A. Fadeev (settlement Magarach of the Bakhchisarai district). He graduated from the art and graphic department of the Kuban State University (department of painting). He began his career in 1987. Since then, Andreev has been a participant in all-Ukrainian and Crimean exhibitions. The artist's works were exhibited in Kiev. St. Petersburg, Moscow, Heidelberg, Istanbul.
The artist combined his creative activities with pedagogical and social work - he headed the Simferopol branch of the Crimean organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Personal exhibition: in the Crimean organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2008), the House of Science of the Taurida National University named after V.I. Vernadsky (2008), the Art Museum of the Historical and Architectural Reserve (Bakhchisaray, 2008), the ART-Manor Gallery (Yalta, 2009), and the Verkhovna Rada ARC (2010).
In 2001, Andreev won the prize of the Association of National Societies and Communities of the Peoples of Crimea of the Crimean Republican Culture Fund named after Maximilian Voloshin. In 2008, he received the title of Honored Artist of the Crimea (Ukraine).
