VERY VERY RARE... "LONGINES NACIB K. DJEZVEDJIAN ISTANBUL" WRITTEN, A TOTAL OF 200 PRODUCTS WERE MADE...
A limited edition "Longines" pocket watch, made between 1865 and 1880, with the name of Nacib K. Djezvedjian, the Ottoman distributor of the company of the period, inscribed on the dial. When Nacib K. Djezvedjian got his first distributorship in Istanbul, these watches were put on the market in small numbers because the craftsman had confused their covers and mechanisms while assembling, and after this issue was understood, he removed the watches from the market. Therefore, the cover numbers and mechanism numbers are not consistent. On the mechanism, "NASIP" is written in Ottoman Turkish. The 0.800 sterling silver watch has its key and in working condition.
