Hakan Ada

HAKAN ADA (1982 - )

He was born in Silifke in 1982. He graduated from Mersin University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Between 2008-11, he completed his master's degree at Gazi University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department. His works intervene in the reality consisting of images and present it with the imaginary texture of its reality. The artist distinguishes the deficiencies and additions of the world he lives in and reveals his problematic as an issue by dancing with spaces and images on the canvas.

The space they create by containing the attachments of the image and their state of being shows the existence of their paintings and the artist's medium in today's world. The artist, who defines his paintings as depicting places and people that have intervened in his life, and his works as being between the feeling and the felt, the seeing and the visible, continues his life and work in Mersin.
