Sılacan Köseler

SILACAN KOSELER  (1986 -   )

Sılacan Köseler, born in Ankara in 1986, graduated in 2011 from the Sculpture Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Faculty of Fine Arts where she is now doing a master’s degree. The artist uses metal bars and salient galvanized and perforated tin plates to enhance our wish for serenity and escape from our daily routine. This evasion, imagined as a sunny day and a distant outlook on the city, is transformed into a gloomy scenery with a palm tree swaying under the storm and the sun setting behind skyscrapers. The artist lives and works in İstanbul.
