Klaus Kugler

Born in Worstitz in 1942, Klaus Kugler studied graphic design in Vienna after studying at the Stuttgart Art Academy. The intricacies and details in Kugler's paintings, an engraver and pencil and brush artist, are particularly striking. Stuttgarter Zeitung wrote about the artist: “Kugler is a storyteller of dreamy, prescient and fantastical realms who develops his paintings and graphics from agricultural and architectural concepts, which he depicts with ancient masterful precision and vividness, achieving surprising associations in the process.”
