Raşit Altun (1980 - )
Born in Izmir in 1980, Raşit Altun graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Education, Department of Visual Arts Education in 2001.
Three main elements stand out in the works of Altun, who portrays the "Purgatory" in his imagination with his unique style in his paintings. These are light, forms and color integrity. The artist, who pays particular attention to the harmony and harmony of forms in his compositions, is also a follower of the surrealist movement. Although the artist is a follower of a surrealist movement, he masterfully handles the forms he creates and completes his compositions without disrupting the integrity of the painting and without affecting the main theme.
In addition to his four personal exhibitions, he has participated in many exhibitions and participated in national and international symposiums, such as the 2015, 2016 Paris Louvre SNBA Carousel Hall Turkish Delegation Salon Exhibition in France, the 2015 Torun Museum Okregowe Ala Turque exhibition in Poland, and the 2012 USA Miami Art Expo.
