Alp Tamer Ulukılıç (1957 - )

Born in Bitlis in 1957, the artist studied art at the Devrim Erbil Workshop of the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (now known as Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University) between 1975 and 1982. His works reflect a colourist-figurative approach in which he deals with the distinctive features of our social life, the problems arising from the conflict between traditional culture and contemporary culture, the dimensions of our human existence, in line with the requirements of an expressive painting technique. He continues his life and work in Istanbul.
