Emel Karakozak (1974 - )​

Born in 1974, Emel Karakozak has been protecting the art of photography since her high school years. Opening her first personal exhibition in 2010, she described her art as follows; ‘Visuality is my pressing side… I like speaking the language of photography and this sentence. Maybe the Writings do not include brushes and hammer blows, but they have a stage and plot in their own world… There is a unity and continuity that is created by a continuous chain, neither from nature nor from people. It is aimed at understanding everything completely. Life and death, which are narrated simultaneously in my bipolar psychology, are an example of my hybrid expression.’ The artist, who has won awards in both national and international competitions, maintains her life and profession in Istanbul.
